Blog Writing Basic vs Pro: what's the difference?

The main differences between our Basic and Pro Blog Writing services are writer quality, research depth, and the extras included. Both are 100% unique, UK and US written content with unlimited revisions, but Pro is designed for when you want a higher standard and more continuity from project to project.

Writers

Basic orders are allocated to any available writer rated up to 3 stars. Pro orders are allocated only to our top 4 and 5-star rated writers. These ratings come directly from clients, who rate every completed blog post between 1 and 5 stars.

What's included with each

Both services include basic to thorough topic research (topics can be created for you), UK and US copywriters, content delivered in a formatted Google Doc, and checks with Grammarly and Copyscape, plus a 1-click revision request and order tracking in your dashboard.

Pro orders add:

  • Thorough subject research (rather than basic research)
  • Surfer SEO optimisation, if you provide your Surfer SEO Content Creator link in the project brief
  • Royalty-free images included
  • A written meta description
  • Internal links added for you
  • The option to choose your favourite writers for future orders

Re-ordering from the same writer

Only Pro orders let you request a specific writer again. Once a Pro blog post is complete, your dashboard shows the writer's name, and you can order directly from them going forward for better continuity on your brand's content.

Which one should you choose?

Basic is a solid, cost-effective option if you need reliable, well-researched blog content at pace. Pro is worth choosing if you want top-rated writers, SEO optimisation with Surfer, images, meta descriptions, internal links, and the ability to build an ongoing relationship with a favourite writer.

Both services offer the same revision process: you have 10 days to request amendments, which go directly back to your writer for a resubmission, typically within 2 days.

You can compare word count and pricing for both tiers, and place an order, on the blog writing service page.
