What business details do I need to provide?
To get started on your local citation building order, we need your business Name, Address and Phone Number (NAP), along with your website URL and a short description of your business. Providing accurate details upfront helps us keep your NAP data consistent across every directory we submit to.
Business address
A full business address is required so we can list your business and solidify your NAP profile. If you don't have a specific street address to use, we can proceed with just a state and postcode instead.
If you'd rather not display a full address at all (for example, for a service-area business), let us know and we can look to hide it. Bear in mind that this may result in fewer successful listings, as an incomplete listing can reduce legitimacy and your chances of ranking well locally.
Email address for listings
Some directories require an email address as a mandatory field, while others don't need one at all. For every order, we set up a free email account so you can keep track of directories that need approval and make sure confirmation emails don't get lost or land in spam — your login details are provided in your report, and this account isn't listed as your public contact email unless you ask us to.
If you'd prefer to use your own business email address instead, just let us know and we can arrange this with our production team. We'll just need a temporary password so we can approve directories on your behalf during the submission process.
Phone number and description
We also need a business phone number to complete your NAP information, plus a short description summarising your business. We'll submit all of this information exactly as you provide it, so please double-check it's accurate before your order begins.
Countries covered
We can currently build citations for businesses based in the UK, US, Australia and Canada only, so please make sure your business address falls within one of these countries before ordering.
