What if a media site rejects my link or is no longer available?
Occasionally, a media site's editors may reject a link, or the site may stop accepting external article placements at the last minute, even after you've placed your order. If this happens, we'll let you know and offer you a choice of how to proceed.
What we'll offer you
If we're unable to secure your placement, we'll give you the option of either:
- A replacement media placement site up to the value of your original order, or
- Blogger outreach placements totalling the same value
We'll always confirm with you how you'd like to proceed before processing anything, so nothing happens without your say-so.
Why this can happen
Each media site has its own rules, requirements and niche restrictions for content, and editors have the final say on whether they're prepared to link to your site. Sometimes an editor will reject a link due to the niche or topic, and if your niche is a trickier one, it's worth knowing that other media sites with strict guidelines may also decline it. In other cases, a site's guidelines change at the last minute and they stop accepting external article placements altogether, even if they did when you placed your order.
Refunds
We will only provide refunds if we're unable to secure you a placement at all. We're unable to provide refunds for any other reason, so in most cases we'll work with you to find a suitable replacement instead.
Turnaround times
Most placements are secured within our standard turnaround time, but some sites can take longer - occasionally up to 8 weeks - to secure a placement. If this applies to your order, we'll let you know in advance.
If you'd like to browse our current list of media sites or place a new order, you can do so via the media placements page.
