Why does the blog have ads or a disclaimer on my post?

This happens because we work with real, genuine bloggers rather than private blog networks (PBNs), and we can't control how they choose to monetise or present their own sites.

Why ads appear

Unlike PBNs, genuine bloggers often run ads to monetise their blogs. To access these real, authoritative sites, we have to let bloggers manage their site as they see fit. This has no bearing on the relevancy or authority passed through your link, so it's nothing to be concerned about. The real value comes from the link being dofollow, which search engines use as a signal of authority and can help your website rank higher in search results.

Why disclaimers sometimes appear

We make a real effort to ensure placements look natural, including negotiating disclaimers with bloggers where possible. However, this also means we let posts fit naturally with the blogger's own site rather than dictating our terms to them. To be upfront, we can't guarantee that 100% of blogs used for your projects will be free from a disclaimer.

What we can guarantee is that posts won't be marked as:

  • "Guest Post"
  • "Sponsored"
  • "Paid"

We work with over 1,000 agencies and aim to keep our service fast, affordable and scalable. This means we're not able to manually check every blog's disclaimer policy before reaching out, as this would add significant time to the process. If you need guarantees around specific disclaimer wording, a bespoke blogger outreach service may be better suited to your requirements.
