Which metrics do you guarantee (DR and traffic)?

We guarantee Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR) at the time of placement on our link building services, and we also guarantee Ahrefs traffic specifically on our DR30, DR40, DR50 and DR60 tiers.

How our guarantees work

Ahrefs DR is our main guaranteed metric across blogger outreach and niche edits. You choose the DR tier you need, and our dashboard shows the DR metrics as they stood at the time the link was placed. Ahrefs traffic is guaranteed on top of this for the DR30, 40, 50 and 60 tiers.

These are the metrics that work best for our regular customers, and they help us keep our service scalable and affordable. Because DR is updated regularly by Ahrefs, we can't refund or replace a placement if its DR changes after the first day it was secured, and equally we won't charge more if it rises.

Any DR figures you see on our site are averages, based on an analysis of placements over time. They're indicative rather than a guarantee for every individual order, so some placements may come in above average and others below.

What we don't guarantee

Outside of DR and traffic on the tiers mentioned above, we don't guarantee metrics from other software or tools, as this falls outside the remit of our service. We also don't offer bespoke campaigns built around hitting other specific metrics.

It's also worth knowing that low traffic on a placement doesn't automatically mean it's a low-quality site. Many low-to-mid tier blogs get most of their traffic from direct sources like social media and bookmarks rather than search, so this is normal and not usually a cause for concern.
