How do I change the target URL or anchor text on an order?

If your order hasn't started yet, just contact our support team with your order number and the changes you need, and we'll update it for you. Once content is being written or links are being placed, changes may not always be possible, so it's best to get in touch as early as you can.

Before work starts

If you've spotted an incorrect target URL or anchor text and the order hasn't been actioned yet, reach out to support with your order number and the correct details. We can update this for you before any content is written or any placement work begins.

Once work is underway

If content has already been written or a placement is being arranged, changes may no longer be possible. It's worth checking in with support as soon as you notice an issue, as the earlier we hear from you, the more likely we'll be able to make the change.

You can also use the request amendments feature on your order while it's in progress: click into the order, scroll to the right-hand side, click the three vertical dots, and type in your request. This goes straight to the writer, and you'll get an email once it's actioned.

Changing links on completed orders

We can attempt to change the target URL or anchor text on a completed order, although this isn't guaranteed, as it involves going back to the site owner to request the update. Changes to completed orders may incur an admin fee of £15 per change, at the discretion of our support team. You'll usually need to provide the placement URL, the current anchor text and target URL, and the new details you'd like used.

Good to know

  • We reserve the right to amend anchor text and other order details where needed to secure a successful placement.
  • Replacement links or content aren't guaranteed if a site owner is unable or unwilling to make the change.
