How do I manage email notifications?

When you create a fatjoe account, you agree to receive emails from us, including order notifications, system updates, and marketing or educational content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, but order notifications are part of the service and will continue for as long as you have active orders.

Order notifications

These emails let you know what's happening with your orders, such as when an order is complete, so they're considered part of the service itself rather than marketing. If you've placed an order, you should expect to receive an email once it's finished.

Marketing and system emails

Alongside order updates, we may also send system updates, information about new services, offers, and educational material. Most of our marketing emails include an unsubscribe link at the bottom, which you can use to opt out of future messages.

If you can't find an unsubscribe link, or you'd like help managing what you receive, get in touch with our support team and we can update your email preferences for you.

Good to know

• We don't currently offer a reduced-frequency option (such as monthly digests) — the choice is generally to stay subscribed or unsubscribe fully from marketing emails.
• Unsubscribing from marketing emails won't affect order notifications tied to your account or active orders.
• If you're receiving unexpected emails from third-party sites related to a citation or outreach order, these are usually unrelated to the submission itself — contact support and we'll help confirm.
